I received a lien notice from a recovery contractor for my health insurance company. Does this fall into the Private Lien Resolution Program?

If you are taking part in the Private Lien Resolution Program, yes, the notice you received from the recovery contractor would be a part of it. So if you’re in the program, you should have your attorney send the notice to our team here at Garretson, so that we can make sure the lien is handled properly.

If you aren’t in the Private Lien Resolution Program, it’s not too late to join. You might owe liens to other insurance companies which made payments on your behalf, and the Private Lien Resolution Program can take care of those liens too, if those insurance plans are part of the program.
