If you would like the Garretson team to resolve healthcare liens from a plan that is not part of the Private Lien Resolution Program, you should still complete and sign the Enrollment and HIPAA Release forms, and name your insurance company on the enrollment form. Then, mail the documents back to us. Our staff will contact your insurance company and ask them to participate. If the plan does not agree to join the Private Lien Resolution Program and you have been placed on notice of a lien, you and your attorney will need to satisfy those liens. If you have not been placed on notice, you and your attorney will need to check whether you have to let the plan know about your settlement.
